For the fifth consecutive year, Essence Communications will be bringing the authentic experience of Oktoberfest, the MOST Bavarian of traditions to Kuala Lumpur.
Our ultimate objective is to provide as much genuine Bavarian atmosphere as possible. The original “Inntaler Musikanten” will bring the German celebration to life with their famous “oom-pa-pah”. The Inntaler Musikanten, a 6-piece band, in their traditional costume, from Munich, Germany will entertain the guest with its Oompah-pah – traditional Bavarian music.

The band was formed in 2003 and made up of musicians from different bands. This band caters to events that require live music with a versatile repertoire, especially Top 40’s and popular classics (80’s & 90’s). To date, we have performed for many shows ranging from major corporate events to private parties.

EmceeBelinda Chee * Nicknamed the Jukebox back in the good ol' days of teen-dom, the 'girlfriend' in the currently aired Hotlink TV commercial shares that liking music and listening to it is not enough to get you through the unending string of VJ jabber.
* Winning second runner-up in the Rexona Star Search in 2000 was Bel's debut to a life of television glamour. The win came as a complete shock as the talent she was up against was considerable.
* Having tasted Malaysia's entertainment scene via Rexona, Bel decided not to pursue her dreams just yet. Instead, she went back to school and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Upon coming home mid-last year, she applied for and landed her first job as a production assistant for 8TV.
* Aside from hosting the Hitz.Tv music chart show, Bel also emcees for other events, the latest being ESPN's Asian X-Games.

Hari Raya Puasa is major festival of the Muslims in Malaysia. 'Hari Raya' is Malay for "Grand day of rejoicing". It is also known in Arabic as 'Edil Fitri'. It is celebrated to mark the end of the fasting month of 'Ramadan' on sighting of the new moon. The month of fasting is known as 'Ramadhan'. Ramadan is the period of fasting for one-month from dawn till dusk with abstinence from certain "no-no's" like lying, doing wrong deeds, smoking and making physical relations and etc (thou shall not sin).
